The Grove Sports Centre is a non-profit making organisation serving Nailsea and the
surrounding areas. The Grove Committee is chaired by current members of the club
looking after it's best interests. Their aim is to provide sporting and recreational
facilities for the local community.
Inside the building, we boast two skittle alleys, three big-screen projectors, several
large flat-panel TV's, a separate lounge bar with stage and dance floor and a full
size badminton hall.
During the summer season, we have two full-size cricket pitches including practice
nets used by Nailsea Cricket Club. These are converted to two full-size football
pitches over the winter season. This is complimented with an all-year enclosed football
pitch complete with changing and shower facilities, dugouts and ample spectator areas
for our home team, Nailsea United Football Club.
The Grove Commitee is currently chaired by Simon Brierley and the bar and indoor
facilites are run by the current Steward, Chris Simmonds.
